An IoT Security Framework
Today, Great Bay Software’s solution consists of a software security platform that streams, aggregates and consolidates data from over forty sources, feeding it into the platform’s Warehouse of ContextTM—a processing engine built with AI capabilities—that analyzes over 150 attributes on each device and assigns a device profile type in real-time. Device profiles provide information about the activities most typical of that device group. Then the solution passively listens for any anomalous device behaviors across the network and intelligently initiates remediation policies—denying access, quarantining devices, initiating alerts, etc.—if necessary.
Great Bay Software’s platform is further enhanced by its incredible ability to scale. One customer, a large healthcare organization, is able to monitor and control over 1.5 million devices across its entire network, most of which are non-traditional endpoint devices that contain sensitive and/ or life-saving information. Another major U.S. healthcare organization considers Great Bay Software its tier zero (or mission-critical) partner and has achieved several resource efficiencies as a direct result of the platform’s user-friendly, cockpit-style dashboard, which enables the healthcare provider to understand the location of each device in real-time.

If any anomalous activity is detected in conjunction with device, the customer utilizes Great Bay Software’s behavior analytics feature to quickly analyze and mitigate the threat immediately.
